Transparent Fees for Your Financial Confidence

Naturally, we would not expect you to commit to a Financial Planning Service without first identifying the potential value that it offers. Consequently, your initial no-obligation meeting is always at our expense. If, following our initial discussions, you wish to proceed with a Financial Planning Service, there is a cost associated with this.

The fees are always discussed and mutually agreed upon before proceeding, and the size of the fee depends upon the complexity, risk, and amount of work involved. We charge for our services in the following way:

Discovery	At our expense – no charge to you.
Financial Planning Service Incorporating: Research Analysis and Advice Implementation	We charge a fixed fee, which we agreed with you at the outset. The amount will depend upon a range of factors. As a guide, a non-complex case often results in a fee between £750 and £2,000. For a very complex/involved case, we normally cap the fee at £5,000. For protection policies, for example, life assurance, we normally receive a commission, the amount of which is set by the providing company. We will disclose this to you in writing.
Review Service	We charge an annual fee (normally received monthly), typically 0.75% of the value of your investments. For example, at £200,000, this would be £1,500 a year. The fee will normally apply to all funds and plans that you would like us to manage and review for you. For very large investments, we normally cap the annual fee at £5,000. For protection policies, we normally receive a commission, the amount of which is set by the providing company. We will disclose this to you in writing. Alternatively, we may agree to a fixed annual fee for our servicing arrangements.

Please note, our fees do not normally incur VAT, however, we will inform you where this is not the case.

It is often possible to have our fees taken from products that you hold (e.g., a pension plan). If you have products that offer this facility, we will discuss the options available to you.
